Epitaph Poems

Bod: The child who was raised by the graveyard villiage.

I choose this one because Bod was the character that was raised and taught things by the ghost and dead people. After Jack had killed his parents baby Bod was always taught thing by the graveyard. He was also giving the spell to be able to interact with the dead and alive. Throughout the book, he had gotten into a bit of trouble but the ghost was always there to redirect him and get him back. Therefore that's why he would get this epitaph poem.

Silas: Who would know vampires are the new interpreters.

I gave this to Silas because of the simple fact that Silas was the character in the book who was able to look human even though was a vampire. He was also the one to go get food for Bod and introduce him to the alive world; he was the gateway to "normal". He would also help with the education aspect and at all times the biggest concern was his safety.

Jack: The Jack of all trades is now has a whole nother meaning.

I think this suits Jack because he was part of that organization where they gained magic by killing people. Well, when someone thinks of this saying they don't think murderers. Which is the whole other meaning aspect of it. I also think that he was able to hide and be manipulative toward people was also a trade of his. He was a very sneaky guy who only wanted magic. But at the end of the magic greed was way too much for him.

Miss Lupescu: Wolf that protects everything good

Miss Lupescu was a character that looked like a young person besides her old clothes and gray hair. She took a caring from the school aspect making Bod memorize boring facts. She was also there when Bod got into trouble she would come and protect him. She was the mother the Bod didn't have. Sending all her evil aspects to hell she kept people she cared/ the good people safe.

Myself: Live life as a wild horse because life is too short. All of my mistakes and successes were worth the gallop.

I choose this because life isn't an easy thing to go through. I have always gotten through life living free like a wild horse. Making choices that can impact my life tremendously or not at all. All  I can say is each choice was not made without great thought but it also was all worth it.

Unit Plan Plan

Week One: Week Two; Week three: Week Four: I think I plan to do my unit project on the book Don't Call Me Crazy I wrote bullet points on what I think I choose to include.  1. During the first week I would do an introduction to mental health and start reading the book  2. During the second week I would have them take one of the stories and really dive into their own self and figure out what they can relate to and have them teach a small group. This would then lead to some discussions. 3. Third week I would have them do a project around the story of their choice and I would make sure to have the projects all setup and assigned to each piece of work.  4. The last week I would have them create a project that takes one of the stories that they felt like they will remember the most and create a dream board kind of project to show how it impacted them and how they won't forget it.

Book Theift

“She leaned down and looked at his lifeless face and Leisel kissed her best friend, Rudy Steiner, soft and true on his lips. He tasted dusty and sweet. He tasted like regret in the shadows of trees and in the glow of the anarchist's suit collection. She kissed him long and soft, and when she pulled herself away, she touched his mouth with her fingers...She did not say goodbye. She was incapable, and after a few more minutes at his side, she was able to tear herself from the ground. It amazes me what humans can do, even when streams are flowing down their faces and they stagger on...”     I think this passage was very important because it made it so that a reader was able to understand how hard the situation was. It was able to pull me closer to understanding the characters and the story. I think that the characters were going through. I was able to fully understand the emotions and the heartbreak that was occurring. I think without this passage you would not have had th...
